The CUET UG admit card will contain the name of the NTA exam center, exam date, shift timing, instructions, and other details. All candidates must bring the admit card along with a photo identity card to the exam venue. The list of permissible photo IDs will be provided on the admit card. If any discrepancy is found in the admit card, then the candidates should immediately contact the NTA helpline number for CUET UG and report it.
CUET UG 2025 Admit Card – Latest Updates
The date of commencement of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2025) may be extended for a few days. According to the schedule fixed by the National Testing Agency (NTA), CUET exams would have started from 8th May and ended on 1st June. But sources say that right now the entire focus of NTA is on the Medical Entrance Test NEET, to be held on 4th May. CUET UG can start from 13th May. NTA has not yet released the final schedule of the University Entrance Test. In such a situation, there is a consensus on extending the CUET Exam Date 2025.
Sources say that senior officials of NTA are also involved in the preparation of the medical entrance exam NEET UG 2025. NEET exam centers are being visited across the country.
CUET UG 2025 Admit Card: How To Download?
- To download the admit card of CUET UG 2025 examination, applicants should first visit the official portal cuet.nta.nic.in.
- The admit card link will be visible in the “LATEST NEWS” section on the home page of the CUET UG official portal, and click on it.
- After that, enter your credentials like application number and date of birth on the page that opens and submit.
- Now your “admit card” will be showing on your screen. Download the admit card and take a printout of it for future reference.

Is NEET more important than CUET?
In fact, this time’s medical exam is a question of prestige for NTA. If there is a mess like 2024 this time too, then it will be difficult for NTA to answer. This is also one of the reasons for not taking a final decision on the datesheet of CUET UG. THE NEET UG exam is on May 4, and the CUET exam is to be held from May 8 as per the schedule.
Sources say that complete preparations have not been done yet to conduct the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) from May 8. In such a situation, postponing the exam for 5-6 days will give NTA some time.’
At the same time, experts also say that ‘NTA is delaying the decision. Students have been waiting for the datesheet of CUET for a long time. But information related to this is not available on the website cuet.nta.nic.in. Whatever decision NTA takes, students should get information about it a few days in advance.’
In 2025, papers of all 37 subjects will be in Computer-Based Test i.e. CBT mode. The CUET exam can be held in three shifts on a day. This time, the student can give papers on a maximum of 5 subjects.
CUET Exam: Why hybrid mode necessary

In 2024, the entrance started from 15 May and from 15 to 18 May, the papers of the subjects with the highest applications, English, Chemistry, Maths, Physics, General Test, Economics, Geography, History, were over. After that, the exams for Computer-Based Test (CBT) subjects started.
Experts say that ‘There are so many subject combinations in CUET that it is not easy to conduct CUET only in CBT mode. Apart from this, due to the exam being conducted in CBT mode, NTA has to adopt the process of normalization, whereas normalization does not happen in offline mode. The Ministry of Education and NTA should seriously think about implementing the hybrid system in the CUET exam.’
